So if it is possible for an event to get get funnier AFTER it is over, this must be the one. Enjoy this video of the mayhem this past weekend at Okemo's Joey Jam. Watch for Surf the Earth Snowboards winner Steven at around 4:32 and of course standing on top of the new ride claiming his prize. Could they really miss the backflip off the car? I mean, really.

Killington's Spring Loaded
Congrats to our rider PJ Ewanos for his second place finish in Sunday's slopestyle event at Killington's annual Spring Loaded event. Poor weather reduced the photo/video opportunities, but the event was a success nonetheless.
Also, big ups to our very own Shannon Kennelly, who took third place in women's Pro division. Good job Shannon!

YO! Joey!
With all the events going on up here in the Killington region, where do we start?! Between Killington's Spring Loaded, and Okemo's First Annual Joey Jam, it is a busy weekend again!
While Spring Loaded finishes up tomorrow, let's report on Okemo's Joey Jam. Visit this link for a good explanation of this event. And of course, who won? None other than our own Joey, Steven Kelly. Straight out of NJ, Steven had the skills, persona, attitude, and most important, the inherent looks it takes to hit a wicked jump and rail and then 'tawk' about it, yo! Steven, we expect that car you won to be available to all of us to practice donuts in the back lot.
Here is a photo of him showing off his new ride, a purple haze 1992, 25th anniversary edition Chevy Camaro.. "Hey yo! Yous watch the paintjob, eh!" He has spent the last month growing his mustache and formulating a strategy to win this event. “I’ve been getting ready for the Joey Jam by practicing my Joey moves, going to Karaoke and staying up late, drinking cheap beer,” said Kelly.

More Sun, More Photos, Killington just keeps getting better!
Some more photos from recent sunny days here in Killington of team riders PJ Ewanos and Dillon Dudley. Dillon, if you want to keep your place on the "team" you better upgrade your outfit. Dillon, if your Park Pickle could puke, it would be the color you are wearing. HA, but we still love you regardless of what you are wearing! Photos from the Killington Stash and rail garden at Bear. Killington Powder Video Short
Intentions were good, the conditions were great, but reality set in during the first run that the conditions were just too good to spend taking too much time filming last week during the snow. The result is only a little bit of footage to work with from last week's storm. Riders Dillon, PJ, and Steven were caught first run getting some goods, but then realized that film+powder = too much wasted time.
